Forged for a comfortable feel and sound
The new P770 irons have a hollow soft iron body and have been improved based on a detailed analysis of the club’s vibrations at impact, resulting in the best feeling in the history of the P770.
TaylorMade’s custom clubs can be ordered starting from a single iron. Furthermore, by reviewing the head shape and loft angle for each club, it has become easier to create combo sets between models.
Further evolution of the player’s iron
TaylorMade’s unique “FLTD-CG Design” head design is used for each club. Not only is it highly forgiving, but it also provides the performance required for each club by pursuing “easy to hit” with a high trajectory for the long irons and “reproducibility and operability” with a low trajectory and high spin for the short irons, which are the key to scoring.
In addition, by combining the “Chrome-moly steel L-shaped forged face” and “Progressive ICT”, the thickness distribution of the face surface is optimized for each club, reducing trajectory variation even on off-center hits.
The quest for stability
The soft iron forged hollow body features tungsten weights(*) and optimized center of gravity position for each club, providing not only a beautiful appearance, but also excellent distance performance and high operability.
In addition, TaylorMade’s proprietary filler “SPEEDFOAM™ AIR” is injected inside the head. Furthermore, sound tuning is performed to achieve the feeling that golfers desire and an unprecedented hitting sound and feel. In addition, the classic “through-type SPEED POCKET” is also installed, which reduces unnecessary spin due to mishits and contributes to maintaining the initial velocity of the ball.

The new P770 Iron features a cleaner, more compact shape and a head shape that delivers better turf control than any other irons. The new P770 Iron has a sharper top line and a more refined, compact head shape.
